Jett Character Creation

Jett, is our SPACE PIRATE. From another planet, she’s an alien that shoot lasers. That is the class in a nutshell, and it’s pretty kick ass~
While I thought it would have been cool to start up an Alien faction and then create more alien classes later in the gMS life. Jett it simply a Pirate Explorer, not an alien, not a space anything. Explorer, laaammmee.

She uses a Gun as her weapon, and a special shield similar to Demon Slayer. But instead of the ‘Core’ as it is called, being her draw of MP like DS it is for bonuses. SHE DOESN’T USE BULLETS, I am very sad by this. Mercedes uses unlimited ammo, because she is a Hero. Wtf?!
Jett’s main stats are DEX and STR. DEX being the more important stat, of course. Upon level-up, you get 5 AP, and 3 SP. I actually haven’t gotten a chance to create Jett, I did however get the slot for her. MapleStory just went down so we have to wait for the more important info that I will be giving when the game goes back up [8

The site says you get a special gun at every job advancement, my guess is that it looks all alien techy. Kinda like her class picture on character creation and the event page.

She has a buff skill! Whether or not it is a link skill is still in debate until I find out for sure, I don’t wanna rip the info off other blogs so as of right now I’m pretending she isn’t released yet. Until I get the info myself <3

Part-Time Job

This feature is the shiznits! After signing up for a part-time job and staying off said character(s) for 6 hours give or take, you get a reward. You don’t have to stay logged in for that long, but the longer you work the better the reward. (Go figure!?)
Must be level 30 to participate. Reward is received via NPC, Ms. Appropriation. You can find her in these towns: [UPDATE WITH INFO]

Part-Time Jobs – Rewards;
Rest – EXP Buffs
Herbalism – **Chance of obtaining rare recipes.
Mining – **Chance of obtaining rare equipment/accessory recipes.
General Store – Chance of obtaining various scrolls.
Weapon/Armor – Chance of obtaining random equipment items.
** = Doing this Part-Time Job while having the same profession increases your chances of better rewards.

Character Card System

As if the Character Codex wasn’t fun enough, they make cards out of your characters!
Each character at or above level 30 gets created a character card. A Deck of 3 slots is available for you to decide what character cards you want enabled. Depending on the level and class type of the character, will determine what bonuses your Deck will receive.

Level 30-69 ~ Character Card - Rank B
Level 70-119 ~ Character Card - Rank A
Level 120-199 ~ Character Card - Rank S
Level 200 ~ Character Card - Rank SS

Even though Cygnus Knight’s can reach 120, they can only have a Rank A character card. Sucks, yeah I know ._.

NAVIGATION/LEVEL SYSTEM: [r4]

Navigation System

MapleStory GPS, oh how we all wished this existed back before Big-Bang when quests needed research before completion. Now with quests being easy enough to not need to research, they introduce the Navigation System. Well better later than never~

It’s pretty straight forward, you enable the Navi system and a huge red arrow bigger than you appears above your head. The Navi system is not provided for special maps such as event maps, hidden streets, and certain “other” maps.

Level-Up Guide System

Level-Up Guide System is something we kind of already had.. But not as in depth as it is now. You have a whole window devoted to it and I guess it was going to be needed to help more players feel like they don’t have to grind at jesters all day long. (A lot of people STILL do that, there are other places people!!)

NEW WEAPONS: [r5]

Cash Shop weapons were converted into actually obtainable and hopefully useful in-game weapons. They had some already but now, we get more <3
Why do I say hopefully useful? Because unless they are class specific it is mostly just for show. The level range is between 53-123 for the new weapons. Because they are new they are available in Gachapon for a while.

THIEF/MISC CLASS REVAMP: [r6]

The Thief class has been rebalanced, or revamped as you’ll have it. To be more powerful, and new skills have been added for them and some removals as well.
All previous Thieves should check the event notifier (Star Icon) on the left side of the screen for a quest to receive a free SP Reset Scroll. This scroll will reset all of your assigned SP except for those in your Beginner skill tab.

ACC and AVOID boost increased from 160 to 220 at Master Level. Master Level decreased from 20 to 10.

Wtf is instanced?
It is so multiple groups can enter different instances of one boss at the same time.

Only issue is the drop rates have been “adjusted” I couldn’t tell you if it was an increase or a decrease. My bet is on decrease x:

This section I will copy paste directly from the website. It’s too informative to let me pick apart. It’s one of those updates that needs you to read EVERYTHING about it, Neo City ftw<3

Travel to the future in the revamped Neo City area to experience new quests and receive new rewards.
The quests are now for characters Lv.125 and higher.
Several quests have been replaced with new ones.
The quests still begin through NPC Andy in Tera Forest. The quest "Mysterious Wanderer" will automatically appear in your quest notifier when you reach Lv.125.
The area has been modified to flow more like existing theme dungeons.
A new Master Monster named “Puso” has been added.
You can fight the boss in each region only up to 20 times per day.
Upon defeating Nibelung in Year 2503 and completing quest, you will be moved to the first map of Year 2503 as with other regions.
If Time Traveler’s Pocket Watch is in your possession, you can return it to Andy even after completing quest.
The quest cannot be forfeited.
The following three quests are repeatable:
Focusing on the Enemy First: Lv. 125, Captain Edmond (Year 2099)
It’s Not Safe Yet: Lv. 125, Bao (Year 2215)
Rescue Mission Begins: Lv. 125, Isabella (Year 2216)

Rewards
Andy’s Mastery Book:
Reward item received upon completing Neo City quests.
Use to receive Lv. 30 Mastery Book that can be used by your job (Maple Warrior excluded).
Obtained upon completing Returned Time.

Time Traveler’s Laurel:
The stats have increased compared to its previous version. It has hidden potential, and it is automatically is of Epic potential tier upon using a Magnifying Glass. Characters who had the old version of the item before can do the new quests to obtain the newer version.
Obtained upon completing Nibelung’s Song.
New stats: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +10, Max HP/MP +200, Weapon/Magic DEF +200, ACC +400, AVOID +100. 7 upgrade slots, unhammered. One-of-a-kind item, untradeable.

Neo City Time Traveler Medal:
Upon completing all Neo City quests, you can do the quest to receive the medal from Andy.
Obtain upon completing Title – One Who Traveled Through Time.
Stats: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +6, Max HP/MP +400, Weapon/Magic ATT +1, Weapon/Magic DEF +50, ACC/AVOID +200. One-of-a-kind item, untradeable.

Attack Scroll for Time Traveler’s Laurel:
A scroll that can exclusively be used for the Time Traveler’s Laurel has been added.
Obtain rare Temporal Sand from Neo City monsters and Puso, and then exchange 10 of them for the scroll from Andy.
Only one can be obtained per character.

Improves Weapon/Magic ATT on Time Traveler’s Laurel. Success Rate: 100%, Weapon ATT +1, Magic ATT +1

Chaos Scroll:
Exchange 30 Temporal Sands for one of these from Andy.

You can still exchange current Battle Points(BP) into Gallant Emblems with Maximus.
Gallant Emblems now drop from Monsters Level 70+ (YESYESYES, shoulder decorations here I COME~)
The items you can get with Gallant Emblems are now sold by Inkwell.
Because PvP is on a Hiatus, you cannot enter Battle Square and any quests related to PvP are not up for completion. If you were at some point in Battle Square, you can still leave you just cannot enter it.

The default attack speed has been increased.

The interface of the quest log has been improved with more options to help you find quests close to you and to more readily see the starting level for available quests.
Click the “View Current Area” button and only the quests for the region in which you currently are will be displayed on the list.
The level at which you can start each quest will appear to the left of the quest name in the quest list.
Certain quest regions have been further subdivided. Quests in Ludus Lake will now be divided under the following categories: Ludibrium, Korean Folk Town, and Omega Sector.

Breakable/hittable reactors can now be hit with skills in addition to normal attacks.
